Indian Fare

New India Cuisine is a recently opened Indian restaurant serving exotic-home made yet-familiar  dishes. Our menu is inspired from the cuisine of India, from Mumbai to Goa. We are the only place in America to offer Malvani and Gomantak curry. See our menu for our signature dishes. Unlike traditional Indian restaurants, our menu features dishes typical of Texas: burgers, wraps and quesadillas but which have uniquely Indian flavors. We also offer standard curries, a vegan platter, traditional Indian bread and desserts.

Although Malvani cuisine is predominantly non-vegetarian, there are many vegetarian delicacies. We serve meat, fish, vegetarian and vegan cuisine at affordable prices. One of our invention in 2002 at Bombay Chinese Restaurant -Dallas was the veg lollipops. Stop in to enjoy a snack or a feast. We also do catering for private parties, office functions and special events.

Gluten Free

We offer various gluten free (GF) dishes in our menu. Our 5 star thali can be gluten free if you avoid nan, chapatti.

Yeast Free Nans

Our Nans are made with out Yeast . We dont use any kind of presevatives. They are different from commercial Nans .

Drinks

We don’t serve alcohol, so you are welcome to bring your own bottle. As an alternative, try one of our delicious yogurt drinks. We serve mango lassi (mango and yoghurt), sweet lassi (yoghurt, cardommon and sugar),  salty lassi (yoghurt and cumin) and Kokum Curry  (Kokum curry is a drink made of kokum extract and coconut milk), with its many health-restorative properties.

Location

We are located next to Eva B’s Kolache shop,  2407 South Congress suite A-2. You’ll find us in the Southeast corner of Oltorf and South Congress, across from HEB, in the shopping plaza and diagonally across from Ace Mart Restaurant Supply. We are fully accessible.

Management

This is the tenth restaurant in the USA opened by the proprietor, Mahesh, who has fifteen years in the industry. He has owned and managed dining rooms which range from a sandwich shop to popular Tex Mex and elegant Indian eateries.

Environmental Support

New India Cuisine is a green business. Ride your bicycle or walk here rather than drive, and we’ll give you a dollar off your order. “That’s my way of trying to save Planet Earth,” says owner. “I am trying by best, that’s all I can do. We have to fix the global warming problem.”
